Louis Judd
Owner of KY Resorts Management, Inc.
Mr. Louis Judd and the Judd family are native sons and daughters to the state of Kentucky and have been for generations. One of several Companies, owned and operated by the Judd family is KY Resorts Management, Inc. KRM has successfully engaged in the resort and leisure activity industry for over 40 years. Ventures include ownership and expansion of the Green River Marina, which included marine and fishing supply sales and rentals of over 180 rental "slips" and boat sales. Additionally, they have owned and operated Green River Marina Houseboat Sales, Green River Lake Resorts, Quad Printing and has extensive interest throughout Kentucky and Tennessee in oil & natural gas holdings.
Mr. Judd is currently contracted to the Kumberland Group for the build out, development, and operations for its R.V. resorts in the state of Kentucky. Mr. Judd, with KY Resorts Management, Inc. has successfully completed the first of 3 resorts, that being the Kumberland Campgrounds resort, in Russell Springs Kentucky. Covering 50 acres and host to over 130 RV and campsites. This project, brought in on time and on budget was completed July, 2022, is in its 6th month of operations.
Mr. Judd is currently overseeing the build out of the 2nd Kentucky project, Paddle Trail Campgrounds on the Green River, in Greensburg, KY. This is a 23 plus acres parcel of beautiful property running right along the Green River. Completion date targeted for Spring 2023.
Mr. Judd is contracted for and plans are also currently underway for the Kumberland II property of 50 acres, to be developed. In addition to the 60 rental pads for RV's and campsites, this property will have a 2-acres fenced, secured, for RV, boat, vehicle storage rental facility, and will parcel out 60 lots for vacation property sales. Projected sales for the lots (5 lots per acres, 12 acres to be developed, water, electricity and sewage) is $3,600,000.
On his off time, Mr. Louis Judd owns and shows a gelding Charlie's Cut Above, by World champion Walk.
John Shuffett
With a Bachelors of Business Administration, Mr Shuffett bring proven skills in collaborating with members of the public, department heads and city council members to streamline operations, optimize procedures and revitalize communities. An eager relationship-builder, team-builder, and problem-solver. He has been the mayor of Greensburg, Kentucky since January 2019, overseeing a 30-employee, 5-department municipal government serving a population of 2,100+, managing a $2M budget.
Shawna Shuffett
Mrs. Shuffett brings a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgetown College, KY and is a well-respected member of the community. With experience in Land Acquisition for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and coordinating schedules for the Green County Board of Education, Mrs. Shuffett is well prepared to assist and instruct on matters of critical importance for the KY Resorts Management Group.
